Realti is happy to announce our last art exhibition of the year, 'Contact', and the 3rd annual concert fundraiser for the 'Give a Gift Appeal' project of Daegu's Time to Give, a volunteer-run organization that helps improve the lives of disadvantaged children in Daegu. Due to COVID-19, we can't open this up to the public, but we didn’t want to forgo hosting this event since it is for a great cause. Therefore, we’ve decided dedicate it to the artists of the exhibition and volunteers who have been putting all their time and effort into the project for many years.

Things have changed so much this year and pulled us down into the dark. We have stopped most of our art activities and worked online. like so many others, and we know that it's not the same. However, some things have remained constant like the spirit artists put into their work and the generosity volunteers show for those in need.  Despite the gloom of the year, they’ve worked nonstop to spread and share joy with others.  As Anna from Frozen tells us in song, we must go on and do the next right thing!

Although not everyone can join us in person, we hope that you’ll join us online!  The concert will go on Instagram Live on December 5th at 5pm.  Follow us at @realtiart and enjoy the show!  Don’t forget to spread some holiday cheer by making a donation to the account below.  100% of the proceeds will go to the Give a Gift Appeal and help people less fortunate.

2020년 리알티의 마지막을 장식할 ‘Contact' 미술 전시와 제3회 자선 음악회를 알립니다. 리알티는 2018년부터 작은 음악회를 마련하여 티켓 판매 금액 전부를 지역아동센터와 보육원의 아동들을 돕는 봉사 단체 ’Daegu's Time to Give'의 ‘크리스마스 선물 나눔’ 프로젝트에 기부해 왔습니다. 올해는 코로나19의 확산으로 기부를 위한 티켓 판매 자체가 불투명한 상황이지만 취소하기에는 동기가 너무 소중한 이번 음악회를 전시 참여 작가님들과 그동안 대구의 아동들을 위해 시간과 노력을 아낌없이 나누어 온 자원 봉사자분들만을 초대하여 진행하기로 결정하였습니다.

리알티에서는 그동안 진행했던 각종 프로그램과 소모임들을 중단하고 온라인을 통해 다양한 문화예술 활동들을 시도해 왔습니다. 어렵고 힘든 상황 속에서 이러한 변화들이 예전 같을 수는 없겠지만 겨울 왕국 안나의 노래처럼 우리는 반드시 계속 나아가며 할 수 있는 일들을 해야 할 것입니다. 12월 5일 오후5시 리알티 인스타그램 라이브에서(@realtiart) 구본룡 더블베이시스트, 김종현 피아니스트, 박혜민 바이올리니스트의 자선 음악회를 함께 하시기 바랍니다.
